The family favourite: the real Diagon Alley at Leadenhall Market, Platform 9¾ at King's Cross, the Millennium Bridge, Borough Market and Lambeth, with an optional afternoon at the Warner Bros. 4. London after dark — the evening tour
The city's most underrated tour. Works beautifully as a first evening after landing — light walking, fresh air, and you are back at the hotel by ten.
5. Windsor and the Thames Valley
The easiest and most rewarding day out of London. Windsor Castle with timed morning entry, the Long Walk, Eton across the bridge, and lunch by the river. In summer we add a private boat on the Thames; for families, Legoland Windsor is ten minutes away and we can split the day accordingly.
6. Stonehenge and Bath — the grand day out
The long day, and worth every mile. Stonehenge with pre-booked entry (ask us about out-of-hours inner-circle access, which is limited and genuinely special), then on to Bath for the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and afternoon tea. A comfortable vehicle and a guide who makes the driving time part of the tour turn eleven hours into a day people describe as the highlight of their trip.
7. The Cotswolds — England at its prettiest
Honey-coloured villages, farm shops, gardens and pub lunches. We route through the quieter villages rather than the coach-tour circuit, time Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water outside the crowds, and can fold in Blenheim Palace or Sudeley Castle for guests who want a stately home with their countryside. Equally popular as a one-day escape from London or as the first leg of a multi-day UK itinerary.
