Why a return costs less than two one-ways
Charter pricing follows the aircraft, not the passenger. If your jet drops you in Ibiza and flies home empty, you still pay for that empty sector. If it waits for you — for a day, a weekend or a week — you pay a much smaller ground and crew cost instead of a second ferry flight. Ibiza airport handles private traffic through a dedicated business-aviation terminal, so guests clear the aircraft and reach their car in minutes rather than crossing the main terminal. Two things matter in peak season:
- Slots and parking: summer weekends are slot-controlled and apron space is finite. Aircraft frequently drop off and reposition to Palma or Valencia, which is normal and priced in.
